#2 Cooking

Hello Again,
I hope you're doing well.
I'm hoping to have a cookie recipe for you soon.  Months ago, I did a little research on cookie ingredients, taking notes on what each ingredient is for and what variations of those ingredients work the best or achieve the right texture or flavor. I narrowed down the best form of each ingredient, at least in my opinion, and put them (and whatever quantity seemed best or average) in a recipe.
Now, I've never made my own recipe before. I used to cook and bake with my mom when I was a kid, and I've cooked some with my Dad, my best friend, my boyfriend, etc over the years, as well as trying new recipes by myself. I even worked with food for a while, although I wouldn't call it real cooking. I don't consider myself anywhere near proficient in cooking. I've always wanted to make a recipe though, I just didn't know how. But I made one and I hope to try it soon. I half expect it to turn out like either goo or a rock, but we'll see. Maybe it'll be decent, or even good.  I'll let you know when I know.
I'm making homemade pizza and breadsticks today for dinner tonight. I'm excited cause it's been a while since I've made them, and I love those breadsticks. They never rise as much as I hope they will, but I have new yeast this time around, so hopefully they'll turn out a little better. I like doing stuffed crust pizza too, by putting strips of cheese sticks on the edge of the crust and rolling the dough over it. It's so good, I can't wait to eat it.
