I just posted the last one but then I saw that I've been posting on here for about a year. That's wild. I may not be super consistent or post super often but I've been coming back and posting from time to time and I think that counts for something. That's something to be proud of.

#11 Knitting

Hello Again, I started learning to knit a few days ago. I'm working on a blanket for my first project. It's not gonna be as wide as I want so I'm gonna knit two of them, each a different color scheme, and then sew the two together. It's going to take a long time, but it's something to do with my hands and as someone who likes to always have their hands busy, that's a godsend. Knitting does hurt my hands quite a bit though. That part is annoying. I believe what I've been doing are called garter stitches. There's still plenty about knitting that I don't know, but it'll be fun to learn. I think it's good to start with a blanket because I can just practice doing continental knitting and garter stitches until I've got it down. There's already a fair amount of progress. My first rows have lots of mistakes and the more recent rows look a lot cleaner, with less holes and missed stitches. I figure I'll leave my mistakes. They add character...

#3 The Questions We Can't Answer

Hello Again, Honestly, I'm upset right now, so I'm here to take my mind off of things for a moment. I hope you're doing well. If you aren't, just remember that things can always get better, and they will. I've found that learning about the world and listening to people's theories and ideas about how the universe works and how to live a good, peaceful life, often brings me a little peace, a little sanity. It often makes me feel seen, just to hear that my struggles are not mine alone. Other people go through the same things and ask many of the same questions I've wanted answers to my whole life. It's frightening to think about what happens after we die. It hurts my brain to think about how the universe may have originated, what the purpose of all of this is. And I strive to figure out who I am, haunted by the thought that I may never truly know myself. #4 Sickness & Smoke Shops

Hello Again, I've got some serious beef with whoever decided that cold medicine should be nearly impossible to open. Like I shouldn't have to struggle for more than a minute to open a stupid contraption when I'm feeling icky. Just give me my medicine already. Minecraft is a great game to play when you're sick. It's so peaceful (other than the monsters). Like when I feel like crap it helps a whole lot to just escape for a bit and build a little farm, and then another farm, and another, and then a fountain. It's funny, there's this smoke shop out near where my grandparents live, and we went to visit them, and I'm old enough to go in there now, so I did. And I'd always heard they had such beautiful things in there, and they do, but it's not like I imagined. Like as a kid I hyped it up in my brain to be this fancy, artsy little shop with purple velvet walls and big displays of beaded things and tapetries and artwork, all amongst the typical smoke sho...
